Did I hear that correctly that they are having player led practices right now? If this is a thing I’m sure all schools do it but who actually facilitates the practices and what’s going to be done since coaches can’t go? Obviously players but it seems someone would need to be in charge. Also would these be voluntary practices?

Leavitt was one of the players leading the practices.

Dude or chic I don’t remember saying they were new. I had questions about them. I clearly don’t know football on your level.

I would think that the coaches outline what needs to happen at these practices, they just can’t physically be on the field with them. I also don’t think these practices are as voluntary as some might think.

Coaches maybe, maybe not give captains/leaders an itinerary and they go practice. Said players maybe, maybe not report back to coaches.

They are "player led" and "voluntary."

In reality they are led by coaches and players better get their arse to them.

I heard in an interview that the balcony built in the indoor facility was specifically built for coaches to be able to watch player led practices. They technically aren't on the field.

I believe the Strength and Conditioning coaches can be on the field. Not the position coaches or consultants.
