I’m not going to complain about having all this talent because it would be foolish to do so. It’s honestly pretty crazy to finally have this type of talent all of a sudden. It’s not likely that all of our current and future QBs finish tigers by the time their college Careers are over.

A lot of this has to do with “LA” finally having top notch QB recruits regularly. Something that in the past wasn’t really a thing.

Myles
Max & TJ
Nuss
Howard ‘22
Arch & Eli ‘23

We may not get some of the future guys because of the log jam in the room currently. I expect Howard to come in and compete. Dude is a stud.

I wish this type of talent wouldn’t have been so back to back. I woulda rathered these types of guys come in every 2 years. I have complete confidence that who ever gets the start come fall. That’s what good talent like this allows. Whoever wins the job will be good.

This is short sighted because in depth looks at the recruits past ‘23 haven’t been that great due to Covid and them being so young. La may have guys that come out as great QB prospects past 23 as well. We may be able to pull better recruits with more consistent QB play in the next couples years.

Agree about being spaced out every couple of years. Better to have that problem though than none at all. Another thing is O actually being able to get guys to commit only a year apart.

I've always said you just need one special player and a good understudy to start the system rolling.

I’m still in wait and see mode on all of this talent.
Most times if you don’t have a clear #1 it is because you only have a bunch of #2s.

Gonna be crazy when it’s max, nuss, and Howard. To me that’s even more talented than we are rn

I always said that whoever fixes LSU’s offense was going to be a superstar because nobody else could take the credit but him. Well look at where Joe Brady is now ha. Saying that, I agree 100% with you. Now we need that same system rolling on OT’s. Once we get that, we will be competing yearly with Bama. QB and OT recruiting was all that stood between us and them.... oh and the offensive system ha.

In come Dellinger, Campbell, Bordelon and Taylor. (Who plays OT out of that bunch, we don't know yet) But somebody or something has lit a fire and opened Orgeron's and Cregg's eyes.......

LSU has limited QB experience in big SEC games....we have some growing pains to go through.

Having 2 that can start next year is a huge help....

Time will tell.

It took this state a long time. Not enough HS programs committing to spread etc.

We’ve always had QB talent since Saban has been here besides the Hatch year where Periloux fricked us. Development has been our problem.

7v7 is going to help that a lot. Especially with the abundance of talented skill positions that LA always has.

Of our 4 current QBs only one is from Louisiana.

Yes playing touch football really helps this out...7on7 has a place and a purpose but kids play basically year around now and then wonder why they play soft on Friday nights or qbs get scared the first time they get hit

We stopped getting QB talent because Les was a dipshit and QBs didn't want to play for him.

Are you really counting quarterbacks who haven’t stepped on campus yet?

After what happened in 2020, with LSU having to start two freshmen after Brennan went down, I'm very content landing a talented quarterback in each recruiting class. It would have been nice to have a quarterback with at least an ounce of college experience behind Brennan. Can't predict injury, so load up at the most important position. Ultimately, the best player will emerge out of the QB room.

If you are right then something is wrong because Alabama often has starters come in and experience great success in big SEC games in their first year. Not their first year with the team mind you, but first season as a starter.

You're describing the Crimson Devils right there.

Major difference is Bama OL recruiting and development, which has been light years more advanced.

Cregg is mediocre at best.

I still want my Co-OL coach set up with Mawae coaching T/TE's and Sale handling G/C's. (Maybe in 2022 when Napier arrives. )
