I'm actually ok with not playing Washington. With the apparently juiced balls that made their way to Clearwater, Washington might have scored 20 runs on our pitching.
3-0 record, lots of good offense, enough good pitching at the right time, and wins over 2 teams that will really help our RPI. I'd call it a very successful weekend.

And I would have liked a shot at Washington. It's not as if it would have really hurt us to lose. A win over them would have been good, though.

The pitching will get figured out, give it time…be excited they won against a top 6 team and a top 25 team…this team has grit and fight along with talent..will be a tough out at the end

Oh I agree the pitching will be fine and I am quite excited about the year.
I just didn't think our pitchers needed to be subjected to whatever was causing an enormous amount of runs to be scored by almost everyone in that tournament.

it is big girl ball. this is not 8u. you adjust and DWI had it occurred. crazy shite happens at certain parks with certain conditions. That is softball to the tee.
