Will style points from beating these 2 teams down and leaving no doubts at all, help us more as a case for a BCS game over A&M, that is saying FL loses?

Florida loses, Georia loses, ND loses and LSU is #4 and style points can go frick themselves.

Although I like the way you think, but who's to say A&M style points are better and they jump us to that 4th spot and were left at 5 with our dick in our hand....

The gap is way too big between LSU and A&M for A&M to jump LSU with the two games left on their schedule.

Then why are the pundits wanting them instead of us if the gap is that big?

I think style points would possibly help sway the voters that we are a much more legit BCS caliber team than A&M. A&M has beaten exactly one good team this season. They have two remaining gamaes against Sam Houston State and Mizzou. After 2 weeks, the win against Bama will start to be forgotten.

What does that have to do with anything at the moment? There will be some people wanting LSU and some wanting A&M being ranked 7 and 8 like both teams are. The gap between LSU and A&M is too big for them to make up any ground and jump LSU and be #4 at the end of the season like LSU probably will be.. and get an auto BCS at large bid.

After #4, the bowls can choose who they want as long as they qualify. If LSU is #4, a BCS bowl has to take them.

I don't normally believe in style points but I think it behooves Miles to put 50 on each of our last two opponents.

A&M will not jump LSU unless LSU loses.

But for the purposes of this discussion lets assume that ND wins out. Florida loses to FSU and UGA loses to Bama and LSU is number 5.

Will style points help then?

That's kinda what I was getting at purpleandgold, I really think they will be taken into account between who the BCS would take out of us and A&M...

I definitely agree. I think we should drop 50 on these 2 teams, get the swag back that we had last year and leave the bowl committee's no choice.

Yea the boat came on my thread and kinda made his own tidbit and changed it all up from what I originally was trying to get at he was just going out on a limb with saying ND loses, FL loses and GA loses and LSU is 4 if it was only that easy....
