student tickets for sec championship

have they always had to be picked up in Atlanta? Called the ticket office today and they said you have to bring id and show it to pick up ticket at the game. It seems kind of odd that you can't get them the week before at the ticket office like every other away game.

Probably another move by LSU to prevent students from using the discount they get on tickets to make profit selling them

yeah that's what I was thinking. but it sucks for those who ordered tickets and legitimately can't go. you can't even give the ticket away, much less sell it

Very smart. Kind of screwed me though had friends who were going to buy my parents a set and we were going to make a family trip out of it. But oh well, gonna have to get em from someone else. I got mines though!

It changed after 2003.
Picked up tickets at LSU in 2003
In 2007 SEC tickets had to be picked up in ATL. NC tickets were picked up day of game at Superdome.

they did the same thing back in 2005 when i was student. we had to pick our tickets up from the ticket office at the stadium the day of the game
