They can go to Chuck E. Cheese for that. When you're in the stadium, the point is to will your team to victory. Your own sense of well-being should come second to being loud and attentive. Nothing else matters except the W.
So you can't have fun in the process? Give me a fricking break, the student section does more willing the team to victory than the entire stadium combined. If they want to do a few dumb/corny things during dull moments of the game, that's fine by me. That's the whole experience of being in the student section, it's a different atmosphere than the rest of the stadium.

Watching a game in Death Valley on a Saturday against a ranked opponent should be fun enough to the point where people don't feel the need to invent things. If it's not for you, go watch the game on your big screen. Then you can change the channel when you lose interest.

Yes, that means you should put down your iPhone and quit Facebooking.
I know, I know... We ask for too much.

I'd say it probably starts at 205 and wraps around to 201.

Oh OK
Note to students: Don't do anything fun or creative at games. Simply watching the game should be fun enough, and in this process of watching the game, if any of the emotions that come along with having fun arise, or you feel the urge to add to the stadium atmosphere by using silly cheers, chants, or god forbid dances, immediately channel your inner old man and cease all activity. Thank you.

some guy in the SEZ was trying to start the wave last week. He was yelling at everyone around me for not doing it. He had is back to the field on one of the touchdown plays. Then he asked "what happened?"

Which students do anything creative at football games?

cheers, chants, costumes, etc.

I don't think people know what creativity is. The older people want the current students to think oh lets say "Kick their arse" at the end of the first down cheer is "creative" while "you suck" is most assuredly wanting. The hypocrisy of jealous alumni is astounding.
How about this guys...we can do whatever the frick we want

Of course you will, and most of the shite that catches on in the student section will continue to be about as creative as a 10 year old's macaroni picture. Not that things are necessarily better at other schools; it's just the nature of the beast.

I am a student and proud of the student section but there are things that need to be addressed.
you are at a game in the student section, stand the f*** up. this weekend especially is an SEC game. pay attention. don't start the wave while the rest of us are yelling our asses off because we are on defense and are playing a ranked opponent. this shite starts while we are not up by much, it makes you look dis-interested in what is going on.
the "wooo" after the 1st down cheer and some other stuff is lame too. 2006 was my freshman year and it was by far the best atmosphere in the student section i've experienced.
inflating a bunch of beach balls while we are very much in a close game is retarded. stop batting around the beach ball and start yelling.

Many things need to be "addressed" in that stadium before anyone can begin to hate on the student section.

The wooooo made sense when we started doing it in 05 because of the Rick Flair strut done during the song.

Because it's frankly been embarrassing to watch MSU and WVU put together extended scoring drives
When did either of those teams put together more than 1 drive in a game?
Hell, when did WVU put together an extended scoring drive?
