Particularly the Greek/Org section was Chanting "Suck that Tiger Dick" very, very loud and could hear very well from where I was right above them ... was is audible on TV?

This was the first game that I think it was clear that almost everyone was yelling it.

that didn't bother me as much as the "frick you saban" cheer led by the greeks.....
there was one particular fraternity in section 105 that seemed to be the ringleaders.....of course the administration does not have the intestional fortitude to take their tickets away for the rest of the season because the rich daddies will get mad because their darling boys were just being boys.....
i was in section 104 just below them.....

The Student Section is a different animal than it was a decade ago. The academic standards were raised and the liquored-up student has dropped off a bit. The new student is a lightweight, but can maintain an ability to be organized with others and yell things such as that. Also, tradition matters little to them. Back in the day, students got hammered and didn't go to class most of the week leading up and after. They relied on liquor to make them loud...forget the new chants and new dances.

frickthe Frat section, Student section was filling up 2 hours before the game yet the empty frat section with better seats was empty. Frat daddys are students too make them sit with the rest of us

It was the entire student section. No "ring leaders". It's the Reveille's fault for popularizing the cheer, half the SS had no clue before the article.

I was in the student section as well and I know some of the people from the frat's that are proud of yelling it.
Retarded too, the band will stop playing the Neck and it sucks because it's badass. I know it's all in fun and students can be immature, but shite some of them need to grow up.

Most people sitting next to us were laughing when we'd say "suck that tiger dick". Good to see the older fans enjoying our shenanigans!

F that, the "frat" section and the student section are what make the game, they get their early and dont leave until the game is over. Hell not only are they cheering they are up the whole game... Thats more than alot of people can say. That is the dumbest thing i have ever heard to "take their tickets away" why? so some boring old man or some big wig douche from an oil company can get them and leave at halftime? PROPS to the Student Section INCLUDING the Fraternity section for keeping Tiger Stadium rocking!

it is a different age as you don't hear the student section yelling "bullshite" over a bad call.....
"suck that tiger dick" is off color but not overly offensive.....
the "frick you saban" I felt was over the line, particularly is it was offensive to people bringing kids to the game....i brought an 11 year old to this first game in Tiger Stadium...

Well as I was leaving after the game (after the alma mater) the students next to the band were begging for "Neck". The band leader told the band to strike it up!!! I chuckled to myself, because it was kinda of like, "Screw it, we just beat Bama, let's all join in".
