How does the fine stop anything?

I never even proposed anything. I was literally asking for ideas. You need help learning to read I suppose. Again i absolutely hate the rule but it is the rule now. With the way the NIL is today 100k gets you a 4 star and 500k can get a 5 star. In this scenario storming the field for a non elite win is a waster of money and is directly hurting to program you are supposed to support

Back in days when people actually respected authority and the rules most of the time, fans were explicitly told by Sid Crocker to not enter the field after the game. To be sure of that, on the floor of the stadium was a ring of law enforcement officers in uniform with to prevent fans from entering the field. I saw several times as a child/adolescent some overserved fan run out onto the field after the game and immediately be taken down and cuffed. Of course these were isolated incidents and the most doing it at one time was only a dozen or so but if was effective. At the risk of spending $500K for a fine I would think that LSU would go back to some show of LEO presence in the N EZ to prevent any more occurrences.

The fines are absurd. I don't agree with them.

It’s a fine because it’s dangerous, moron.

It's not stopping it. It's a ridiculous amount of money. I don't care how much money they make. It's absurd to fine for it when it doesn't even stop it.

i’m in the minority here but i think storming the field is dumb as frick

you run out there to stand and scream woohoo/yea while fist pumping, then what?

but keep doing it, allows me to get home at a decent hour

The students came out of the stands and were lining the edge of the field at the end of the Tennessee game in 2000. Great memory

I was at a UVA game a while back when they stormed the field after beating Louisville. The stadium is made for storming. The field has a big hill at one end, which is where the student section is. No fence. That’s how the field was covered with students within 10 seconds.

Is there any way we can get tiger fans to realize this and save the field storming for Bama, Georgia, and Texas level teams.

Or maybe just don’t storm the field ever?

I know you didn’t propose anything. Nothing that you or anyone else here proposes will stop field storming.
