Florida and Ole Miss are historic rivals of LSU. At least keep one of them and stop this garbage of trying to force A$m as an LSU rival!!!

If you don't think ATM and LSU aren't rivals go ask your Daddy about LSU and ATM

I’ve been hating A&M since the 80’s.

My grandfather and my dad went to LSU, and both of them hated Ole Miss more than any other program, A&M was irrelevant to them.

Also been hating ol’miss and Florida since about the same time, so go figure.

Ole Miss hates Miss St more. Florida hates Georgia more. This TEMPORARY solution allows each team only one rival. You may want it to be someone else, but those teams have bigger rivals. Get over yourself.

People have complained for years about us being the only SEC school without a true rival and now we might actually get one we can all hate together. Florida and Ole Miss are not our rivals. We just happen to play them every year. Florida’s rival is Florida State and Ole Miss has Miss State.

This! Those that are complaining about this must be too young to remember.
Arkansas was a forced rivalry.
TAMU just makes sense.

So you want our rival to be A&M with their homosexual traditions and perennial 8-4 or worse records? Hell, I’d rather have Alabama as a rival over those clowns.

It isn’t about what I want or what you want. You don’t just get to throw a hissy fit and magically Ole Miss decides LSU is a bigger rival than Miss St. This isn’t about feelings.

I’ve never hated them.
They’re NOT our rivals.
After Tulane (our ORIGINAL and main historical rival), our rivals are:
Ole Miss
Bama
Auburn
Florida

The truth is that we haven't had a per se rival since Tulane. We have had several rivalries but the lack of a worthy in-state opponent has meant we don't have a true rival.
Arkansas makes the most since to me since they also don't have an in-state rival.
This is the reason that two divisions or hell even pods if properly done needs to happen to preserve at least a few of each teams rivalries.
Now all that being said geography needs to play the biggest part in selecting divisions/pods and each team needs to play the team in their state before anyone else.
Not going off of geography allows someone else to get off easy and looks like someone is dodging.
Or just do a full and fair rotation of schedule. Some years you get fricked, some years you have the easy route. At least the shite show gets spread around equally.

Sounds like one of them touched your butthole once.
Sorry but I’m not afraid of their gay traditions. It’s just a football game.
I really don’t know which team you would put us with at the moment. I wish it was Alabama, but I get the other matchups, they just make sense.
Arkansas makes the most sense I guess.
A&M will be a fun rivalry. Just give it time.

Tulane hasn’t been a rival since the late 70’s.
Ole Miss rivalry died out long ago too.
LSU doesn’t really have a true hatred except maybe Alabama, but Auburn is one million more times a rival
A&M use to own us in the 90’s, and lately it’s become a stronger thing.
Give it time.
