Stop saying they weren’t!!
When is the last time LSU had three players drafted off of their OL in one draft? Two of which were second day picks.

Last year the offense could run the ball when they needed to. Even early in the season when they struggled a bit they could still consistently convert 3rd and short.

They were not great but were good last year. JB did cover up quite often for missed blocks last year with his ability to escape, often busts by Dec.

Grant Delpit was voted as the best DB in the nation in 2019

"Stop saying Burrow was the best because he won an award"
Key word there is usually. LSU did not win that award because they had the best O-line. They won because they were the best team.

While we’re at it, I don’t wanna hear about how good joe Burrow is anymore Just cuz he won the heisman and natty and put up record stats. Same goes for Jamar chase and his awards.

Grant Delpit was excellent last year.
Grant Delpit was so excellent that he was recognized as the best in the nation with the Jim Thorpe Award.

The OLine was good last year to be honest, but I do agree they were overrated. I think Burrow isn't given enough credit for the job he did pre-snap last year and in 2018. He made the OLs job much easier.
This year, it seems that OL development has been poor and they don't have the guy at QB that can make the adjustments pre-snap like Burrow.
Reality is that this team just does not look focused or like they care. In some cases it looks like they've already given up on the season after the 1st game ended in an L.

They were great last year...not sure why you’d all of a sudden think any different

Surely, this is at least partially tongue in cheek.
They were really good as a unit. Burrow and Edwards-Helaire took them over the top...

They were good at run blocking, mediocre at pass blocking imo. Burrow's scrambling ability made up for a lot

So jamar chase wasn’t that good either? Burrow just made him look good enough to be the best receiver in the country?

Our o line was obviously very good last year. Are you retarded? This thread is bad and you should feel bad.
Posted on 11/4/20 at 1:14 pm to Tiger30
They were pretty damn good. They went up against some of the best front 7's in the country and got the better of it more times than not.

They were excellent but it's no use in arguing with a idiot.

/sarcasm
I guess OP (and others in this thread) only consider the OL good if the QB holds the ball 7.8 seconds and never even hears the sound of footsteps while Chase runs to the endzone and back to catch the bubble screen. Then, and only then are the eligible for recognition.
OP sucks; thread is stupid.
