Yes and he was not wrong about anything…
Did you happen to listen to Mascona’s interview with him today?
He clarified his position and made perfect sense.
Mascona keep stating that the fact that Louisiana tax payers have never had to pay off fired coaches is somehow “precedent” and he is implying that the Governor should not be vocal about his concerns for the tax payers of Louisiana.

You mean the interview where he repeatedly referenced making to Bowl Championship Series? Name one other state/university where this is normal. It’s not and maybe it doesn’t matter in the end… I certainly hope it doesn’t. But to pretend like there’s no chance it hurts with the coaching search or that it in any way isn’t a cluster frick is naive.

Well…. No coach is going to accept a job without a president and AD in place. Also no sitting head coach is going to come here for less money and less job security. He’s not leaving a place with a guaranteed contract, and coming here to see if it works.

Football fans who hate LSU are laughing at the situation just as we laughed and relished in when the A&M program imploded…this is a normal human reaction.
What is not normal are all the people being crazy emotional about something that was necessary and blaming the wrong person.
