Texas wins their 19th straight today. I know the Tigers are slumping but I'm still hoping for a quick turnaround.

Kevin Keyes... taunted the hell of that guy in right field last CWS. I would love a repeat of last summer.

They were on TV last night. Still whining after every called 3rd strike down the middle of the plate.

looks like you will have to wait on that rematch. We have to many holes in our pitching staff and at the bottom of our lineup.
I think we could piece it together to make it to a super regional but I dont see us going farther than that.
Right now I am just hoping we make the SEC tourny. I know I sound really negative but I believe that Paul is one of the best coaches out there but is fighting to many things this year such as:
1) Losing Watkins
2) Ranaudo recovering from a huge injury
3) Getting shafted by Vonrosenberg, Colvin and that other pitcher (forgive spelling)
4) Leadership on the mound. Coleman was that leadership last year and I believe he pushed Ranaudo to his potential. I believe they fed off one another and picked one another up after a bad outing. They very rarely had back to back bad outings.
5) LEADERSHIP on the field. Schimpf and Lemahieu were huge play makers. Shimpf made clutch hits and was solid in the field. Lemahieu was just an all around beast!!!

I think next year will be very similiar or worst than next year unless we have some stud pitching coming in. These arent the 90's anymore. Paul cant go out there and pull the players skip use to. Other schools have seen the money and publicity baseball can bring so the recruiting is alot better than the 90's. There are also many factors you have to fight in recruiting baseball such as the draft and many more schools than football.
