Richard Justice more or less gave up all his allegiance to Texas (http://blogs.chron.com/sportsjustice/archives/2010/03/i_went_to_the_u.html). If you want to bash him please do so, but because he's a moron and a poor journalist, not because he's a Texas grad....

I'm not one to normally complain about this. But literally for the entirety of Saints highlights they showed one of the Meachem touchdowns then said congrats on being 10-0. I understand that the Colts had a tight win, that game was exciting and deserves significant coverage, but the Saints are 10-0 ...
It's not like Texas blew it on Monday, LSU took that one. This series was destined for 3 games...hopefully with a Texas dogpile :-)...

LSU certainly has played great, nobody's trying to take that way. Comparing LSU to USC in '05 has nothing to do with LSU and everything to do with ESPN....
RPI. Texas had the #2 overall RPI, won the #1 rated conference in terms of RPI, and had a comparable record to every other highly rated team in the country. It's not like Texas hasn't proven it deserved a top seed....
The comparison to the 2005 USC team is certainly no means of underrating LSU, rather it's taking a shot at the treatment Texas got leading up to that game in which ESPN pretty much ignored Texas' accomplishments.
