Agreed. CEO is going to make his own bed with the E hire/staying with him, and it will very likely impact his longevity at LSU. Next year will be the acid test, if he does not make a change this offseason. The returning 2019 OFF play-makers screams balanced and explosive play capabilities. I hope we don't waste it...

You can't play scared against Bama. LSU so far under E has played "not to lose by that much". That has been their goal.

Look how different they looked with Canada and then we reverted back to old form this year.

You have to take it to Alabama, just like Clemson, and even Auburn and Ole Miss have done in the past. Play to win or at least to go down swinging.

Experience and coaching (scheme, player, strategy, etc.) are both more important than talent. I don't think people see the problem with requiring that your head coach has more talent on the field than someone else before he has a chance to win.

Then explain why Coach K, Saban, and Dabo didn't start winning championships until after they had stocked their lineup with experienced blue chip athletes.
Jphn Brady beat Duke when he had equal talent.

Clemson wants to beat them. We want to compete with them.

The folks that get paid by LSU to post on message boards beating the Slinger drum will not be happy to see this thread. They are perfectly happy with no points in 8 quarters.Meanwhile Oklahoma and now Clemson scoring points on Bama at will. Its all in the scheme.
