Muschamp won't leave Texas - he will own that conference.

I think he would for LSU. Mack Brown is going to coach for 3-4 more years. That's a long fricking time.

I hate to say this but UT HC job > LSU HC job

I would give one of my nuts to have Muschamp as the HC.

Left or right?
I've heard the big money folks have already been in contact and they're waiting for Les to be Les.

pretty sure muschamp or patterson could formulate a pretty nice defensive gameplan with the talent we have.

yeah but if he isnt the HC at Texas and LSU offers him it doesnt matter really. Theres no way he wouldnt be really interested in coming back to LSU as the head coach.

This is all theoretical because Les is going to be here for a while, unless we go 7-5

He won't leave UT unless he is not guaranteed to succeed CMB. There's too much upside with UT eventually going independent. The UT athletic dept. is tops in $$$.

You would think the dream of any LSU fan would be "First title defense for defending national champion Tigers?". But, it's not.

Muschamp coaches aggressively and employs an aggressive, multi-blitz package defense.

He is exactly what we need and what we should have at LSU. We need a proactive team and coaching philosophy, not reactive

Alabama took that philosophy and shoved it down his throat last year. Saban would beat him every year. We can't have that kind of failure here at LSU.

Well, at least the defense would be doing what an LSU defense should be doing... Knocking QBs on their arse.

Drake Nevis, Sam Montgomery, Tyronne Matheiu and others are wondering if you watched Saturday's game or not.

Texas' run defense was a bit weak against Bama last year, but McElroy was getting destroyed every time he dropped back for a pass.

Yea, that's what LSU needs, a guy with absolutely 0 head coaching experience

I'd take Muschamp with his experience over what we have experienced from LM.

AMEN! I still watch the highlight of Muschamp knocking over Marcus Spears as he comes off the field.

I picture you in a dark room covered in a blanket, pitching a tent, and constantly rewinding the highlight of Muschamp knocking over Marcus Spears.

The only way WM comes to LSU is if Mack has another big year. This will mean Mack will stick around longer and expectations at Texas will be high. As a 'fit', WM is best for LSU.

I know I'm in the minority here, but I just don't understand the huge hard-on for Muschamp. I like the guy a lot. He's got a lot of energy and seems to know defense. Without any head coaching experience, I'm just not ready to crown him a savior.
Bo P is doing just fine.

Will could come and bring a great D...Hire a great OC and actually let him do his job. Jackpot.
