And left that lane wide open for the Auburn RB. Looks like he thought the play was going the other way and started drifting towards the middle.

And Grant Delpit saved the game by forcing the RB out of bounds and ulimately forcing Auburn to take 3 points instead of 7.

Yeah that's the point of the read option. To make defenders commit. If they make a false step the wrong way it could result in a big play. It happens

He was reading the fullback. The fullback lined up on the left edge, then blocked back across the center. Stevens followed him and the ball came back right where Stevens had lined up.

IIRC, it wasn't a read option of any kind. Stevens and the MLB got caught up in the misdirection.

He must have been holding all day because Lawrence looked slow and his name rarely mentioned. I guess he plugged up holes and let the others get the tackle.

That pic looks like a chop block on the right side. LSU defender being blocked high and another AU lineman going low
