Serious question. Can anyone name a similar questionable call that went LSUs way in the last 10 years? A call that Bama had to overcome to win?
Not against Bama but against USCe in '07 & '08 LSU got plenty of no calls. ( I just recently watched the 07 & 08 seasons on YouTube, watching 09 tonight)

I seem to remember that Ole Miss had to overcome a horrendous call that gifted BAMA a touchdown right before halftime.
The face mask that caused a fumble returned for a TD

While the punctuation in the middle of the sentence is extremely important, it’s the punctuation at the end of the sentence that makes or breaks the writing: if the end punctuation is incorrect, the whole sentence can be incomprehensible. Using a space before the punctuation mark at the end of a sentence indicates the strong possibility that the author of the sentence suffers from extreme rantardation.

Dumbass, he didn't say that.
He said if "a team looks like it'll have the opportunity to potentially beat Alabama........"
Get your shite straight.

Should have ejected the Bama player. I remember that horrendous "no call". No purple and gold glasses here, just the truth.

Big need to change SEC officials is what we need. Get the BAMA grads out.

quote:"Blaming the Refs" holds a very high position on the traditional Sunshine Pumper list of excuses. The SPMA's all have a tried and true litany of things they pull out of the bag after every LSU loss. It's never blamed on defective, incompetent or negligent coaching decisions.............
Not this shite again. What about 2010? 2011? Where was this phantom call? Or when they played Ole Miss or Ohio State last year? Bad calls happen and it's an unfortunate coincidence that we've been on the wrong side of ONE or TWO. How about we start whooping some arse and eliminate the problem? I guess if we're 10 points ahead and they kick a field goal the refs will call it an 11-pointer, right?

Some losses are on the coaches, some on the players, some on officiating and others, we just plain got whipped.
I blame the Clemson bowl game loss squarely on Miles. Bama 2012 on Miles and Chavis. Bama 2014 on the refs and Chavis. Bama NCG Miles and the players. There is plenty of blame to go around and share.

You were supposed to have listened or read the subject matter before being silly here !

Even the home bama/ auburn refs fail to change the score enough !

The Ohio officials were anti sec officials and the sAme for Notre dame / LSU,Sec teams have to be way better to win bowle games !

The failure to properly rule a TD on the fake FG was very telling. Clear video angles.

And the Bama obsession continues...
I don't disagree with this statement, but I would like to offer the following observation.
I was watching the replay of the Ole Miss v. Alabama game from last year and, many of you, will recall the play fairly early in the game when OM was backed up deep in their own territory and on first down a running play was called where the back broke it out wide left. An AL defender came up to make the play and cause a fumble that was picked up and ran back a few yards for an AL touchdown. While I didn't notice it at first, Gary Danielson stated that he saw a facemask penalty. I replayed the play and, sure enough, the AL defender did, in fact, grab and hold on to the facemask of the running back causing his head to jerk around and then he fumbled the ball.
After replaying it several times you can clearly see an official that is no more than a few yards away that appears to be looking right at the play. While you can't see where his eyes are pointing his head is clearly looking right in the direction of the play...and, when I say he was a few yards away, I would say no more than 5 yards with absolutely no obstruction in his viewing line.
So, I ask, if Danielson can see the obvious penalty from the press box, is it feasible to say the official couldn't from no more than 5 yards away? The running back's head clearly is jerked around from the facemask grasp and it causes him to stop his momentum, lose his balance and, ultimately, fumble the ball.
I know holding calls get missed all the time, but this?...just seems too obvious.

Umm, yes, apparantly it IS possible.
Alabama has clearly put the best product on the field since Saban got there. THATS why they're winning. As long as I've watched football (a half century) the fans of wannabe teams accuse the dominant teams of getting the calls. Hell, maybe it's true. Maybe psychologically a neutral observer gives the benefit of the doubt to the champion. If so, kick down the door, become the champion, and you'll benefit from the phenomenon.
