In before “worry about MSU and AU”

Steve Sarkesian - Falcons Offense

Joe Brady - Saints offense

I’m going to stay optimistic that Aranda and our defense will be ready to look at what it takes to slow down last years Atlanta Falcons team.

Who dat said Dey gonna beat dem Tigers!?

i really believe Aranda has a lot of defense he hasnt put out there. If we could of beat Florida without blitzing he woulda went all game with the 3 and 4 man rush...i think he is saving the blitzes for you know who and only runs them when he absolutely has too to win a game

It's not a complex offense. Tua makes most of his throws within 10 yards of the LOS. Bama has 1st round WRs at all 3-4 positions.

Tua's TDs from Saturday:

TD #1: Throw was behind the LOS and went for a 40yd TD.
TD #2: Throw was a 9yd slant and it went for a 50yd TD.
TD #3: Throw was 5yds on a scramble play in the RZ for a 15yd TD.
TD #4: This one was a pretty double move 35yd strike where Tua put it up and the WR made a play.

Tua is a one trick - one read pony just like Marcus Mariotta and will suffer his same fate at the next level by being drafted way too high and benched.

He didn’t like a one trick pony last year ago against our better defense

I wouldn't go that far. The kid is one of the best college QBs of all-time. However, he benefits from having a better roster than most teams they face. With all things being equal he's just an average QB. The one look-off deep throws won't cut it in the NFL. Especially considering he's going to go to a shite franchise.

If any of you watch really good QB play, you will notice a progression of reads (Joe Burrow actually can do 1, 2, 3, 4 then safety valve). Tua is one look and throw. You NEVER see him read a defense. The receivers make everything easy for him. Wide open slants, he puts a ton of air under the ball and lets them run under it when he throws deep. Just over 40% completion percentage on balls thrown over 20 yards. If you think this is a number 1 overall pick QB that will torch NFL defenses, that’s laughable. I’ll bookmark this and will eat crow if he ever amounts to anything at the next level. I feel I’m pretty damn safe though.

He is an elite passer. You only think that because you hope he doesn’t tear us up again. There is a reason he is unanimous number 1 on mocks and all GMs are salivating over him.he reads defenses beautifully. You don’t have 29 TDs and 1 interception if you can’t read defenses lol. You’re better than this

I don't know about this but I believe in Aranda. Amazing goal line stand end of game Saturday night. Great defense. Also they did very well vs Utah State's vaunted offense.

It's tough to defend luck. Trask played lights out for a new QB, even compared to a well seasoned QB, he was quite accurate. He was very good and Florida got very lucky on a number of occasions (in particular the push off and holding calls that were ignored by the refs).

Keep the faith, the defense is beginning to gel!

Which game have you seen him prove he reads defenses? He has never had to do it. Go look at what he did when Clemson played a mix of defenses vs him last year. He ran up against one where he couldn’t be a one read throw or dump off defense and it ate him up. Manziel, Mariotta, Mayfield and many others have proven you can’t do that in the NFL. As I said, I’ll bookmark this and will be glad to come back and eat crow next year if he proves me wrong. I see what I see when it comes to QB play. He’s being drafted off his potential of being a superior athlete who can throw. I’m betting he won’t be anywhere near his draft stock from what I see. We shall see.
