Saints don't even have a wr and gain more yards than them.

Heard Charlie Mac use it also.

No, he doesn’t. I’m no medical expert, but I’m sure you are wrong.

Les Miles lived by it. Not trashing Miles as I liked the guy as a coach until he became too stubborn to throw the ball.

Yes, 2019 was a lot of talent, but not so much that it made all the difference.
Yeah all that talent was pretty ordinary and it was just the magic of Brady that won the natty?
Your defense of the year before totally ignores the normal growth of the talent. It may come as a surprise to you , but college athletes in general get better from year to year.
Nor is your position that the results of 2020 has any validity. There was no spring practice, no off season drills and a fractured preseason. All of which contributed to the development of the athletes and the offense in the prior year.
Give Brady his chops,ok.

You could make a pretty good argument that the 2019 tigers had more offensive talent that Carolina does today. Hell, the third option at wide out is going to the pro bowl and the other two guys haven't made it to the NFL yet, not to mention a great quarterback and excellent running back. 2020 lacked the quarterback, two of the three receivers and the running back and Ensminger still did a pretty good job. Brady left at the right time.

+1. Been coaching close to 40 years. Orgeron trusts him and they have a great relationship. I don't know how much "value" he will add since he will be an "analyst" and not THE offensive coach. We'll see. Is what it is. At least he will continue to get a pay check and hang out at LSU. He milked the coaching gig well. 2019 will go down in LSU history as a phenomenal year on the football field and he will be considered a big part of that. Perhaps he will be around for helping push Ala. and the mighty Nick Saban aside. That would be my incentive if I were in his shoes. Ala. has ALWAYS been a pain in LSU's side even when he was a student-athlete. Geaux Tigers!

Our talent made about 85-90% of the difference. That team was absolutely stacked. Not only that, every player on that team (with the exception of Delpit) greatly exceeded expectations.

quote:not bad this year, considering mccaffery missed most of the season. Bridgwater showed improvement for a team with a ton of new faces. It will only get better for brady. I love lsu fans that bash him for giving the school the best offense in lsu and arguably college football history.
Doesn't look so hot in Carolina.

honestly don't think he was 100% responsible for last years' offense

It was a very veteran/experienced group as well.
Its far more about the Jimmies and Joes than you're giving credit for..

Seriously dude?
Milked the coaching gig?
Milked the coaching gig and never over those years at LSU just sat around and collected a paycheck?

Thanks, Coach Ensminger for all you’ve done for LSU.
Posted on 12/23/20 at 11:16 am to tigerbait1.6
Glad he is being retained as an analyst. He has been a true Ambassador to LSU. His first hand knowledge of the Joe Brady offense and passing concepts needs to stay in house and be passed along to the new hires.

He's at an extreme talent deficit in the NFC South and is still competing. I say he's doing pretty damn good.
Replace NFC South with SEC West and you are talking about Ensminger.
