If you were a quarterback like Steve was you understand coverages, blitzes, protections, etc.
He can run any system he wants. If he doesn't run spread than it doesn't mean he can't, it means he chooses something else.
I believe he may not be the best choice, but he is plenty qualified.

we have the dumbest fricking fan base on earth, we really do.

edit: so, If i can play guitar, I can play Van Halen's "Eruption".

if i can sculpt, i can replicate the Pieta.

Dave Aranda is the same as Mike Stoops.

theres no such thing as better or worse.

Ems is a coach, and he's coached offense, so therefore he was the best possible choice for LSU to run the spread?

is that what youre saying?

Dumb asses are folks who think that a guy with decades of experience, coaching at the highest levels of college fb, is unqualified.
Man, the rant is idiots

The Aubbies didn't trust him with their Quarterbacks. I Respect Steve. Class Act guy. But let's face it no top 15 P5 Program is calling Steve E to be their OC. It is what it is..

I mean this has to be one of the most illogical hires I've seen

I think Steve is a fantastic position coach but has ZERO business bein an OC at this level for LSU

I don't know how people can continue to spin shite hires after shite hire

If you people ran a company, it would be out of business

He was fired at A&M for losing to USL. They went 6-6. His replacement had them at 9 wins.

He was fired 20 years ago at Clemson and was never hired as an OC again until today.

This isn’t about Ensminger. He knows Football and I’m sure he can install and teach a capable offense

People are pissed because of the snake oil that they were sold by O. This is not a move that lines up with the deal that got him the job. This is not a move that says LSU is ready to be a player again on the national scene. That’s the problem

Yea he has been an OC somewhere. He has like 2 seasons in all his years with a top 50 offense.

Qualified I guess is purely subjective

I am convinced now that many LSU fans are dumber than Bama fans.
