Count me as a frowny face. I thought he did quite well. Really would like to see him with his players, especially LB's which Chavis left the cupboard bare.

Just think of the sack non-production 2012-2014 and look at this year. Yes, a lot of that is Coach O, but Steele gets some shared credit there. And then LSU does alot more things up front in its defensive schemes that are working. Yes, have given up alot of big plays; not as many as I thought we would though. No track meets.

Coach O is more important than Steele to program. If Bebe wanted DC position, no reason to overpay for a glorified LB coach.

Props to Steele. At least his defense didn't shite the bed in the bowl game like Chavis did when he knew he was leaving.
