Having not seen them much this year, was wondering what their team was about. I know they have the running qb but what else?

Their d line is really good. Linebackers and secondary are above average.

O line is ok but very inconsistent. Running back is good. Wide receivers are nothing special. Qb is a tough runner but a terrible passer.

watched the FLA/MSU game. Fitz was terrible when he had to throw the ball. It looks like a simple schemed offense. they run a read option over and over then play action. if we stop that one play and make him throw against coverage, MSU will lose

Their D-Line is damn good. Secondary is very iffy. Offense should be average to above average.

MSU ranked 104th in passing (190 ypg)
QB runs about 20 rushes per game.

Passing attack has been dismal with senior QB.

If MSU succeeds running the ball, look for lower scoring by both teams combined with the fact rainfall is forecasted this Saturday.

MSU giving up just 12.8 ppg

I'd we stop the option we stop State.

Burrow should be able to throw all over them. If the running game can get going as well then it should be murder

MSU Defense is ranked top in country.

FL option killed us, MSU lives by the option. It will be tough, need to bring the heat.

I think Aranda spies Fitz with White or Phillips.

He’s a truly terrible passer and runs it all game.

State’s defense, especially the DL, is really good.

DL is the best we will see all year. Lbers are average, but greatly benefit from the superior DL play. We will need to hit some big plays to score b/c they don't give up many 70 yard drives.

Fitzgerald is the key to State's offense. They have two good backs, but Fitz is the key. If we can keep him in check with the read/option and force him to throw the ball, it plays into our hand. With that being said, it's a very tough task, ask Auburn. They knew what State was going to do and still couldn't stop it.
