In response to another thread in the rant, does this series continue into the 2013 season?

Both Foley and Alleva were lobbying the conference to end the series with the addition of a new member.

Once A&M entered I believe it was mentioned where USC would be LSU's permanent east opponent after 2013.

With Mizzou entering is the game back on? Is Mizzou going to be A&M's permanent East opponent?

I hope not. I don't want another fanbase to be so desperate to be our rival a la Arkansas.

i think there is some strange 1-year transitional situation in play for 2012 with these schedules. Not sure what's up.

I, for one, hate florida more than any other team. I don't want to lose this series -- especially given the current states of the programs.

Can't remember the source, but I thought that the Arkansas vs USCe rivalry was to be busted up and replaced with aTm vs USCe and Ark vs Mizzou.

I REALLY wish the SEC office would rethink putting Mizzou in the East. Let's keep some semblence of credibility and move Auburn to the East.

I know it won't happen, but c'mon man!!

It would even be better to change to North/South...
South:
Texas A&M
Florida
LSU
Auburn
Alabama
Miss St
Ole Miss

North:
Mizzou
Kentucky
Tennessee
Vandy
USCe
Georgia
Arkansas

Hell no!!

This would make for a murderer's row in the South and a ridiculously weak North division.

Mizzou wanted to be placed in the SEC West, but Bama didn't want it and they lobbied hard against it. Of course, they got what they wanted.

WTF does that even mean, "credibility"?

Has anyone lost credibility with the addition of Mizzou to the SEC?

Here, here. Let's kick those bastards while they're down, just like they did to us to take the lead in the series.
