Well, I'm glad we've established that you are not an LSU fan.

Would you really like to discuss verb tenses? Is it supposed to say "You're"? You just showed your arse.

Secondly, the "candidates" for worst LSU team ever encompass three different coaches.

2 of those teams coached by someone named:"Trent".

No, it says your A.D. made a terrible hire. LSU was a program in the Final 4 recently.

WTF are your talking about? That had nothing to do with verb tenses. You called Alleva "your AD" which means he is someone else's AD, which indicates to me that you are not an LSU fan. Otherwise, you would have said "our AD" or "the AD" or simply "Alleva".

This is absolutely the worst team LSU has ever had. The first three teams you show were on probation, the 06 team had some really good players, a couple of them hurt and last years team had tas on it. How you can not say this is not the worst team ever is retarded. Anyone with any knowledge of bb history will tell you the same.

really, who are these people with b.b. knowledge and history that will make this claim?

i don't think there was an asterisk beside the comment "absolutely worst team lsu has ever had". it didn't say other than probation teams. it didn't say potential of talent or lack of talent. it didn't say wins or losses. it didn't say prior or post dale brown era.

clarify what you mean. a team with 9 wins is usually considered not as good as the team with 10 wins.

at the end of the day, finishing sixth in the west is finishing 6th in the west. you are in last place in your division.

Believe me, I know. I lose sleep at night over this shite. It isn't healthy how much I care about LSU basketball.

At the same time saying that Trent Johnson was a terrible hire because we were in the final four two years prior makes no sense.

Not really, you can recruit kids based on saying we were in the final four, thats what you can build on. Try and sell LSU bb to a kid now. He has nothing to sell at this point. What's he going to sell, we are last in SEC two years in a row, won 4 conference games in 2 years and hopefully next year we can win 4 games in the conference, yeah right. TJ is the wrong guy for this job. He does not get the culture here and never will. It is a completely different deal in the south.

I'd give him an extension before I'd hire that jackass in your avatar.

What culture? What does that even mean and what does it have to do with basketball?

How many times was this said about Les. He is a yankee. His Big 10 football style will not work here, etc.

It is just a simpleton's reasoning for the lack of success.

Meanwhile, Johnson brought in a good class last year and signed a McDonalds AA (from Mississippi) this year.

I think there are some valid concerns with Johnson, but that guy has no clue what is going on.

I admit i have not watched a basetball game all year due to the negativity of how much they suck, from this board and sports talk radio. I questioned if Johnson, can get it done with the SouthEast athlete.

After watching Last night, I realized that this guy truly is the man for the Job and I agree with Alleva, that its heading in the right direction. Watching his face last night, and after reading most of his post game pressers through out the year. One thing came clear to me. This team is getting a taste of Humble Pie to the fullest and i respect the fact Coach Johnson, is letting it happen.

Stringer will realize (that people in Mississippi were wrong) He's not the Next A.I.. White, will also see he's not a pure jump shooter. When those things happen, to go along with Turner and Derenbecker's development this team will be better next year. I also like Green as a contributer off the bench, cause he knows what he can and cant do.

So i see why they are excited about the future. Add O'bryant and Hamilton and you finally have kids who realize they are post players. IF its true a JC point guard also comes in that will help as well. As for Dotson, Warren and Ludwig they will see they are the 8,9, 10 guys on the bench. Take the time this summer and specialize in the thing you do the best. Then do it all the time!.
