Starting secondary next year?

Seems like the biggest question mark for defense. Obviously greedy will start. If we can close on surtain Jr I'm guessing he gets early playing time and may start by end of the year.

Rumors going around the Fulton will transfer. Monroe needs to start across from Delpit. KV will stick to nickel.

Bingo. As much as I wish Monroe or Stevens will beat out battle.. I don’t think they’ll let the returning vet sit. Surtain and Joseph will find their way to some playing time I think

It's funny when people start speculating without much thought or info. There is no mention in this thread of Jacoby Stevens. 5 star number 1 rated satiety and a beast of an athlete. They moved him to wr last year out of desperation. Two way athlete. He will move back to natural position and will wreak havoc this year. They will not keep him off of the field

There was a rumor recently that they were thinking about moving Stevens into a role like Corey Thompson to get him on the field this year.

He got beat out by Delpit and Todd Harris, #9,11 safeties. Also battle beat him out, as to why he played all of last year. Why do you think he’ll automatcally win the job this year? Just bc he’s a 5 Star doesn’t mean he warrants playing time

He was also a true freshman. Could break out next year with a full year in the same position

Good question. Howeever, great Dline play will make the DBs so much better.
