nobody talks about the fact that this is the first season in 20 years that we don't have a stud or even a proven RB waiting in the wings.....that's scarier than the QB situation to me

Really, our QB core is wanting.

You seem to have forgot who our coach is....that alone brings me no optimism for next year.

Let's see who the OC is before we talk about ourselves as contenders.
Not sure if that will make a difference, but it surely won't hurt.

Our running back core is seriously defecient for 2018...

our defense will be amazing. probably the best since 2011. it'll keep us in games, but we have too many question marks on offense. i mean, if the stars align then we could win 10 or more games. i don't think it'll be an awful year, but given the schedule i look for 9 wins. another meh season in baton rouge.
losses to bama, uga and a split with auburn, state, miami and our bowl opponent.
10-3 would be a good season with our schedule, and imo what 0 needs to keep his job. he'll probably go 9-4 again and come back for 2019.

YES you are not alone. plenty people don't realize or have been able to really see what CEH brings to the table. I have. I'm not worried at all about him. Brossette is a lot better than what a lot of people on here realize also. I know you will have to wait until the season starts to see enough for yourself to see it.

The only position I am remotely worried about is QB, but pretty sure people are going to see that Brennan is better than Etling pretty quickly in the season. Narcisse could be even better as well but I don't know enough about him to judge.
