look i like our offense under Lee more than Jefferson,

then start and play lee

Starting Jefferson will keep both quarterbacks at their comfort level

were worried about JJ being comforted? Did you ask lee if he's more comfortable watching JJ start over him when he led the team down the field for the game winning TD?

i don't think the quarterbacks could switch roles right now w/o one of them poorly accepting their new role

who cares about JJ accepting his role on the bench...this is football...the guy has to toughen up...look what it did for lee

and drive JJ to do better

JJ will never get better...what you see is what you get...period...get over it....move on...

We have two QBs...one with an ego so fragile the coaches are worried about him constructively quitting if he doesn't get to start and the other so emotionally rattled from the past that he gets too nervous to start. We are in trouble fellas....

I think Lee will actually play better in this game off the bench.

Miles has already said JJ will start, & I don't see a problem with that. JL has done fine before off the bench, so no big deal just because he doesn't take the opening set of downs. The question is, at what point does JL come in?? Do you give JJ more than one set of downs before inserting JL? Some will disagree, but to me, JJ cannot have more than two sets of downs before inserting Lee, especially if we are unable to move down the field for 1st downs. I just hope last week was a sign of things to come with JL's production off the bench...

I would think onfield offensive performance would have a HUGE impact on this decision. JJ should be on a very short leash. I would also think Lee gets time regardless of how JJ is doing. He has definitely earned it.

Miles is starting one of the worst if not the worst QB in the entire country statistically. Picture this scenario anywhere else...who starts or how much wildcat would other teams run with Randle and Shep? I wouldn't want to be Alleva right now. He has a moron running his biggest asset and no easy way to fix it....HA!!!!!

I agree with the OP.......I would not necessarily do it, but I can see the logic behind starting JJ.

The problem is not who starts, the problem is that the above statement is true.

One kid has earned the job on the field, the other has been horrible on the field all year. Maybe he needs some time as a true #2 to get his sea legs back under him

Totally disagree, JJ is done. He is not going to rip of a 83 yard run against Florida. He will not be able to complete a pass

Why does he need his sea legs!?!?!? He is not doing it...bench him. I don't get it. This panicky save my job and don't lose more then 10 games game planning by the bafoon is well typical Miles. He is ruining the image of LSU...like it or not. If the higher ups really want a Saban type of program again then they have to go back to the drawing board. There is not enough Glade to cover up this tardos stinch.

In the 2nd quarter when we are down at least 10 - 0 and have gone through 3 series with no production under JJ

If you are planning on bringing him anyway why wait to bring him in?? Yeah yeah i see where you're saying that JL plays good off the bench and isnt going to be comfortable starting the game because he will be nervous. Once you walk onto the field infront of 100,000 ppl rooting against you, you're going to be nervous whether its on the first drive of the game or the second. The sooner you get him in the sooner he will get comfortable. Im sorry but i dont see the meaning behind starting JJ.

What you have is a bunch of the so-called "positigers" who wer rah rah JJ during all his inept performances so far having to come to rips with reality.

He actually plays WORSE each week.
However, they are so rah rah they are going through some tough times coming to grips with the reality of his poor play.

Hopefully they will figure it out this week, but don't hold your breath.
