I dont see the harm in us trying to tun a two qb system. It seriously cant hurt us anymore at this point. Several others schools have had success doing this.

Instead of just throwing Etling in there, who I know a lot of people think is great (for obvious racial reasons), for his first game?

oh give me a break

etling has starting experience on the college level. granted it was at purdue, but still. He's played college ball before. I don't see the harm in giving him a shot and Lindsey Scott a shot and Justin Mcmillian a shot as well to see who can do what in a real game.

a QB with a 16 adjusted QBR rating against an unranked team shouldn't be the unquestioned starter at LSU. Not in my opinion.

None of which makes one bit of difference when you have that staff on the sidelines.

throwing off his backfoot and bad mechanics as a junior isn't his fault?

seriously? at what point is it on the player?

I'm sorry, didn't you read my post? Do you know how the quarterback position works after the snap? It seems that you do not.

So did Harris, didn't he? He also had more reps with the first team guys.

I have no issue giving him playing time, because it literally won't matter. Etling will be worse and its absolutely inevitable. I hope they give him time just to show you why he was benched at purdue.

No. You fools don't seem to realize how bad Brandon Harris is and how his play translates to the offense as a whole.

All you dufuses do is scream the same crap. Miles this Miles that. Meanwhile, LSU HAS AN ENTIRE SEASON TO PLAY. We lost a close game on the road and could have won it with a QB who doesn't self destruct over and over again.

You can bitch about what happened up until the final drive but all that was past and the game on the line and Brandon Harris did the 1 thing he couldn't do. He turned the ball over. He is the QB and has demonstrated this tendancy several times. He is a Junior and frankly looks the same as he did when he was a Freshman. It is time to make a change. If Cameron and Miles don't go another route at QB then what you saw at crunch time vs. Wisky will be repeated throughout this season. I have seen enough of Brandon Harris to know he simply is an athlete playing QB.

Two QB system eh?? We see how that worked out for ND tonight. Now if u want to do change of pace? Nope bc neither of them are Tebow(runner) Chris Leak(pure QB) or like what Texas is doing. Etling was absolutely horrid even in practices. We riding with Harris period.

you are a dumbass. you are so much in love with some other system you lie like a dog. joe montana was a pro and this is the fricking system he excelled at.

Come on man, I am not in love with any "system" as you say, but I am sick of Les Miles' "system", it does not work, period.

This system is NOT the system Montana worked in, Pro-Style does not mean it is used by all pro teams!

Tell me what QB would be successful with constant pressure from non-blocking OLine and poor playcalling. This "system" has no rhythm to it and the plays are not called to complement each other and attack anything on the other team.

As they say, Les plays checkers and other coaches are playing chess. Les depends on his talent alone to win and when teams figured this out, he has not won any big games since.

Yup. It's as if LSU has no identity or even knows what they are trying to do. Look very lost out there.

I know they aren't supposed to throw it right to the players with the different colored jerseys on the field.

Besides, wouldn't you rather Harris get back to getting confidence IF they even let him throw more than 15 times?
No. I would rather give every other QB on the roster some playing time.
