Another reason I’m glad BK is gone. BK would have rolled him out like he did Nuss and never let that injury get any better.

Clark needs more reps.
You are counting on Leavitt not having anymore issues rest of the year with a hammy injury is asking for trouble.
This can hinder him all season and I would bet the likelihood of Clark coming into an important high pressure game is more and more likely now.
Sam will likely be out all week from practice. Get Clark reps in with 1st team, run the offense this weekend and get him more experience to be prepared to come into a game at a moments notice somewhere down the line.

The coaches see him every day in practice. They don't need to see him.
Also, some players that don't practice well shine under lights better, is an unfortunate real thing. I know this and per Lane he believes it.

This is dumb…why risk your QB1 in a game like this. Play a guy with limited ability and short leash for a game he isn’t needed in to just risk his injury getting worse?
You can tweak that hammy in one sudden movement.
Clark will play a part in this season at some point, soft tissue injuries will linger all season.

Let Clark play the first half and 1-2 series of the 3rd then let Longstreet finish it. No reason for Sam to even dress. Let that hammy heal for MS State. That game is going to be a dog fight I can see it now.

If Leavitt isn’t in pain let him play a quarter at least. Want to see Clark and really want to see Longstreet
