There's a Starbucks a mile from house that's across the street from a store with a Starbucks kiosk inside of it. There's definitely too many and the bubble was bound to pop, especially with 7Brew and Dutch Bros going nationwide.
Those millenial chicks who hung out at Starbucks are now moms who want an iced coffee from a drive theough.

if you need a quick cup of coffee, the average circle k or 7/11 has better coffee than starbuck once these became widespread. The only thing starbucks has left is the fats and Dutch bros seems to be the prefered fat people coffee

Starbucks built a brand new coffee shop on Johnston St (Lafayette) last year. It never opened and sits unoccupied. Homeless people have started sleeping on the covered porch and using it as a home. Guess they want to be the first in-line whenever it opens
