Ahh I misheard the announcer earlier then. I really don't know Stanford or Washington's schedules.

Stanford only with 2 first downs at this point in the game.

I disagree with everyone saying USC sucks or is overrated. USC has some very talented players.

The only difference between LSU/Alabama and USC is depth. Especially depth on the OLine and DLine.

Against Stanford USC was without their Center. On a already thin OLine.

USC's DLine is the weakness of their team. They are very thin there.

USC is overrated, because they can barely field a 2 deep. They've got talent, sure, but once you get past the starters there is a SEVERE drop off.

They're a good team, they're not an elite team.

Agree. They have a good OFFENSE. They have good SKILL players. They are not an elite team, even if you only count the 1st stringers.

I'll agree with that statement.

If you can't control the line of scrimmage it is very hard for you to win a game.

A very good example of this at the moment is Arkansas. Yea they have Tyler Wilson, Cobi Hamilton, Chris Gragg, and Knile Davis.. But No OLine or DLine, along with defense.

USC and Oregon are "Elite" teams when they don't play teams that have a dominant DLine. When they play a Elite DLine they get exposed.

I think if you're comparing starting units they're probably right up there with the best teams in the country, but you need more than starters to win a close football game.

Depth along the line and all over the D is the reason LSU and Alabama were so much better than everybody last year.

Stanford is a QB away from being a really good team I think. They're built well up front and run the ball well.

Nunes is horrible, though. Just terrible.

Up till recently having a solid starting unit was all it took to win games.

LSU and Alabama have really pushed the issue the past few years in rotating lineman, rotating running backs, etc.. Keeping players fresh and keeping the pressure on.

The "Experts" on ESPN a few weeks ago stated that LSU's 3rd String DLine was already better then 10 starting units in the B1G Conference.

You guys are crazy. Washington is gonna get torn apart. They can't match up with a team like Stanford, same reason they couldnt match up with LSU.
