And Bama's pitcher threw 160+ pitches a few days ago so as long as this game is close, we will continue to see this girl

Yeah, most teams only use 2-3 pitchers

More of a natural arm movement than baseball, not as much stress on the arm

They really don’t have careers in sports after college so I guess they figure it don’t matter.

For her it is that’s all they got she’s won 22 games with 0.52 era, got em there last year as a Freshman, bad draw as far as 2 out of 3 goes

It’s not the norm anymore, but it is what she did last year when Stanford rode her to the WCWS. You’ll see it more frequently when you get this deep in the playoffs. If LSU survives, Berzon will probably get most of the work in the WCWS.

Yes. And I hate it.

Apparently it’s not a “team”:sport. A team can ride one player too far.

I’m of the opinion no pitcher should be able to throw all 3 games.

Softball isn’t changing this though. Been this way as long as I’m aware of.

No reason for hate. That’s an awfully strong word. It’s just softball.

softball pitching is much less rough on the arm than baseball pitching
