Good showing by the Tigers. Great heart and perseverance by Squirrel!

For those of you that don’t know squirrel was injured and didn’t start competing until the end of April. It is really hard to hurdle when your hamstrIng is hurt.

UF WINS BOTH MEN AND WOMEN AND UT PLACES SECOND IN BOTH.

If he can really have a great recovery, I would love to see what he can do next year. That 47.02 is attainable under the right conditions. Winning that race 3 years in a row would be remarkable. He could stay in school and run in 24, but my guess is, if he has a great 23, he will forego and get ready for the 24 Olympics. He may decide to try to make Worlds next year.

When he was coming off the last turn, he really looked like he was struggling. I thought no way he is going to win or even place in the top 3. He showed a lot of heard down the stretch.

That’s where he showed that 110 hurdle speed.
He did that with a hammy that is still not fully recovered. Just insane.

Nice, and a 6th place finish for the men is solid.

Yep. Average by LSU standards.
Prior to Shafer
1988-2004 22 Women: 5 Mens

Shafer
2005-2022 1 women: 1 mens

Les Miles worthy at best.

Great for Squirrel. True LSU GOAT. But overall, Track and Field for both men and women have fallen off. Should have never let Pat Henry go.

Burns is tied for 3rd 2 strokes back headed into the final round tomorrow. Should be fun. That first day killed him

This. LSU doesn't even qualify to be in enough events to seriously be able to contend. Multiple runners from some schools like the 5000 and not one from LSU and that isn't the only event. And this is for both men and women. It's time to move on from Dennis.
