On Saturdays In The South.
Paraphrasing: For whatever defense is on the field for any given play, there’s an offensive play that can beat it.
I immediately thought of Brady and Burrow.
Lets.
fricking.
GEAUX!!!!!!!!

I still remember when we first started getting pretty good with Saban. Played florida thinking we finally had a team that would consistently challenge them.......and getting shellacked. Lol. Pretty sure that was the year we ended up winning the sec with Davey.
Eta we did start beating them the next year when spurrior left.

Yep. Saban’s first SEC Title team. They throttled us in 2001 in Tiger Stadium.

Yea wasn’t that the infamous “brook trout” game.
Saban said they beat their arse so bad they had to look of a brook trout. Wide eyed and mouth open

Any play is potentially a touchdown if executed perfectly. Its insanely hard for 11 players to execute a play perfectly though

a qb draw can score everytime if every player wins his individual battle.

What's crazy is that this board has openly regretted missing out on acquiring Spurrier as HC before he goes to Florida and we now have an offense that has statistically destroyed the numbers of Spurrier's best teams.
Good things happen to those who wait...decades.

Well yeah, that's obvious. You're plus one.

If you beat the guy across from you aka do you're job well, then a qb draw should work. You got an extra blocker when the qb carries the ball.
Spurrier goes deep pass to run instead of run to deep pass. That's the way we've been doing things till last week.
Utah State was begging us to run the ball by there formation

Spurrier did it for years... We've done it for five games.

Just prior, beating FL was like beating KY or Vandy.

That was probably Spurrier's best team. (Never understood how Tennessee beat them in Gainesville.) Grossman probably should have won the Heisman that year. He was incredibly accurate and he ripped us apart. We got revenge the next year in the Swamp at 36-7.
FWIW, Gator fans were very disenchanted and negative after the Vol loss and their bitching irritated Spurrier to no end. They weren't satisfied with the final #3 ranking. It factored into him calling it quits. They expected a national title every year.
