Given les's stellar record of producing amazing qb's I certainly find this news quite shocking....

After all the crap I've given Cam and miles over the last few months, I agree with you. I mean geez it's been less than 3 months and a portion of that was vacation. They've only really been back into the grind for a minute.

You're not going to see much difference now, but some things should look a bit different in the spring game. The most improvement will take place during the summer after 7 on 7s and private QB coaching.

Uh... if it's not happening now, which has been the case for several years, why would things suddely transform during the summer?

He's had 3 start in the NFL. Qb recruiting has been an issue, but let's not act like other sec coaches are putting more in. They aren't.

Chill guys it's just spring they're just starting to put The new stuff in. they have the rest to spring,Summer, and fall.I look for the quarterbacks to work with the receivers over the summer, and develop a rhythm with them. I think having Craig on staff is going to help Harris lot. Being a former mobile quarterback I think he can show him different things. I really think if Harris struggles and Etling can hit the short passes and develop the long ball with the starting receivers, Etling will play. He's really not a scrub he went to Purdue he's very smart he has the size. I know people will say he couldn't keep his job at Purdue, but There's different variables why a good quarterback may not work out. The Oline could've been garbage, not the best athletes at receiver, I think he was injured to. He was pretty good as a freshmen,if he can get these athletes the ball and take care of the ball and Harris struggles he will play.I think the quarterback position will be strong this year

We still have severe QB issues.

severe?! Are Jordan Jefferson, from any point in his career, or Jarrett Lee from 2008 back on the team?! Last year was Harris' FIRST YEAR as a full-time starter in the SEC...give the kid a damn break! shite!!

Offense will be fine! We still have time to fix things before Lambeau...

2 of those 3 that started in the NFL were not his recruits. Russell and Flynn were both Saban and both still had an extra year with Jimbo

Part of the problem might be that our TE's most likely forgot what a football looks like that is thrown to them. LSU is graveyard where TE's go to become nothing more than another blocking lineman.

Not saying to expect a night and day difference this fall but the timing routes always look shitty this early in the spring. They have been off for like 3 months.

Did you watch a game last year? Without LF, do we average more than 10 points a game in SEC play? Did we complete more than five passes across the middle in SEC play?

The O has a long way to go, especially considering we lost both of our starting tackles.

Lots of speed at DE in the SEC and if BH can't get some touch on the short pass while under pressure, we are screwed. Count me as very worried about our O.

We need those short and intermediate passes a lot more than the long ones.

This...when you can consistently execute short and imtermediate passes to keep the chains moving it keeps the defense guessing and off balance, they can not stack the box and this opens up your running lanes more...

This is why the fans shouldn't pay attention to spring. If things look bad then they panic about this and that. If things are looking good you never hear about them. You people need to learn that the Baton Rouge media has learned about the LSU fans and they feed into the catastrophe syndrome in the fan base.
