I was there observing today, and as a general rule, the passing game was wildly inconsistent like last year. A handful of deep passes were completed but some of those were more due to Malachi making plays.

Hopefully getting some more work in with Craig will help with the short and intermediate routes. I will say this: Etling had better touch and accuracy on those but not as good as BH on long balls.

We need those short and intermediate passes a lot more than the long ones.

Maybe this will quiet down the playcalling critics? They can't call what he can't execute

Was it due to the defense?

Since 2008 LSU has had an elite passing game one season.

Miles is never going to have a competent passing game.

It's been a couple of months since our last game. Not to mention we have 5 1/2 months till our first game

Valid criticism. It isn't as if they haven't given out enough scholarship offers

Maybe we should scrap the wasted 15 min of big cat everyday and work in short passes

LSU shouldn't attempt one fricking throw down the sidelines all spring until they can execute an offense that methodically moves the ball down the field. And by that, I mean picking up first downs and moving the chains.

Run/run/pass down the sidelines when you only need 5 yards for a first down is a dumb fricking strategy.

Use the fricking middle of the field for Christ's sakes!!

Why?? Just magically?

We still have severe QB issues.

I mean yeah the defense looked pretty decent, but it's not like it was the Broncos D versus Brady.

Yes we do have some time to work this out hopefully. Both QBs did look good moving around in the pocket.

Or 3rd and 12, throw a 6 yard route.

I'm not a patriots fan, but they are the masters of the short and intermediate passing game. We should take note.

But our passing will be ok Bc Cameron said he watched a bunch of spread offenses on YouTube and will be implementing those wrinkles.
