It's Tiger football, there's nothing ghey about wanting to see it--even if it is a glorified scrimmage.

I am looking forward to it, good break from the insanity that is the semester and if it's at night, EVEN better!

Especially to boost attendance.

Only if they pipe in air conditioning.

I'd go if it was at night...I don't go anymore because I literally stick to my seat and my clothes because I get so damn sweaty and sunburnt...it's awful.

I think LSU thinks the spring game is a necessary evil. It would be great to have a late afternoon evening game with a concert on campus or somehing make it a big deal

they arent going to care about a spring game and that is the way it should be. I would hate to be as gay as bama and care about a spring game

You have to look past the fact that it's a glorified practice. Everytime this topic comes up I always explain to people that it's not crazy to go see a football practice. Especially a Tiger football practice.
1 - Tickets are basically free ($1 if you get them late).
2 - You get to see Tiger Stadium on a lazy Saturday afternoon.
3 - There's usually a signifigant baseball game on the same day. Florida in 07 and Alabama in 08.
4 - Another reason to tailgate/drink/grill with fellow fans.

What's so retarded about that? I'm telling you guys that you are missing out on a great Saturday just because you call it a practice.

Moving to night wouldn't change my decision, but it might keep people from out of town from going. Who wants to be driving home at 10:00 on a Saturday after a spring game? It's fun, but NOT THAT fun.

My suggestion would be for LSU to add more attractions around the game. A concert to go with the baseball game. Maybe something organized by the student government. The more attractions the more interest.

As far as costing LSU money---That's not true. Think about all of the concesion/program revenue. Think of the added interest in the baseball game. I know 2 years ago when the baseball team was in the basement, the Florida game was well attended because of the spring game and vice-versa. The sky is the limit for this.

Florida's spring game was televised last year and I watched it. I bet it is this year too. LSU needs to get with the program and jump on this new found interest in spring games. Even if it just promotes the university and doesn't bring in much money on that day, it probably adds to merchandising and recruiting.

Thats what the other big time program schools do like Penn State and Nebraska along with many others. They get easily over 60K fans.

Have it at Night and have a real fricking game with the current team playing a team of LSU football alumni. This would be a BIG money maker...

Well you can forget about any players from the NFL or CFL coming to play. Their contracts will not allow it.

If LSU plays a team like Southern or something. Thats a possibility as it'll help both teams.

What's the difference in starting at 7:00 than at 5:00 like it did last year? It was overcast with a temperature of 63 degrees and a 5 mph wind. You can't really get more comfortable than that.

But do like the idea of Spring football game in the evening after a LSU baseball game.

I think that would work!

Hot usually isn't a problem in the Spring. We almost froze this past year.
