Anyone at the scrimmage today? Wondering how it went. Itching for some information. Thanks

The offense looked great. Very multiple. Dave Aranda did a terrific job on defense. All 3 quarterbacks were about the same, very close competition there. Giles was tough to guard and Fehoko was impossible to block. Devin White is a tackling machine. The young guys in the secondary are catching on quick.

Did I leave anything out?

I know this post was sarcasm, but if this ends up being true somehow, the chaos the rant would endure would be unprecedented.

And that's pretty much how I feel when Orgeron says all of that.

No no no, not at all. Probably a bad statement to put in a sarcastic post. White has every chance to be the best player on the team and an all conference player. That's just one of the stock answers that we get.

Not an O fan but he has the same right every other coach does to flowery optimistic and stock spring answers. Expect it. If it builds confidence in any of the kids, it's worth it. We'll never get anything real from it, not even on "tell the truth Monday".

I don't really disagree. Just having a little fun. I think O goes a little overboard with the sales pitch sometimes and then later it makes him come across as a liar. That happens to other coaches too though. It's O's record as a head coach that gets him more scrutiny when he does that.

I was there for about 25 minutes, Narcisse looks the best to me and Terrance Marshall is the real deal. He totally embarrassed the guy who was covering him, don't know the name but his number was 28.

Sweet, thanks. If Terrace plays like a beast from the get-go it's going to be fun. I really don't care who slings it to him, because whoever that is will have beaten another quality guy (from what we hear). I just hope we don't have a Rohan-Booty thing where the guy who is good in practice sucks in the game and vice-versa, making it hard for coaches to get it right for many games.

I guess that's where fans are rightfully upset. He said one thing to get people behind him, and has now gone back in that.

In 25 minutes you were able to compare QBs?

From what I saw, he had the best reps. They was taking turns operating the offense. Also they really like Clyde Edwards Helaire. Won't be long before he is named starter imo.
