Reason I ask in the 30 point loss to Fla. will be remembered at the end of the season is LSU is in a voting battle for a top spot. Last year the beat down we put on VT probably put us in the NC game.

The only difference between our loss vs. VT is that we might get a chance to avenge our blowout loss. Although to fully avenge it with the voters we might be asked to beat the Gators by 20 plus.

USCw was Saturday because they scored so many on WSU. They ran up the score and got great recognition for it.

Can't assume that from the score. They could have easily scored over 100. Believe it or not they did not run up the score. WSU is that bad. Of course, they scored lots in the first half by passing so there would be no risks (remember Stanford). They ran the ball up the gut virtually every play in the second half. There was only one pass thrown the second half (Mustain for 10 yards).

If it was anybody but a team coached by Darth Visor, then I agree, take the knee.

But the opportunity to hang another 7 on the Old Ball Coach is very, very tempting. Small payback for the number of times he did it as the Gator coach.

BS. They ran up the score. All you have to do is look at how many points they scored in the 4th quarter. I can guarantee you that P.C. didn't roll in 2nd, 3rd, or 4th string for most of the 2nd half when USC was already up HUGE.

Either way, USC got props for doing it and we will find out if Miles strategy on being "the nice guy" plays out in the end in regards to BCS rankings.

Don't all head coaches to their teams - play for 60 minutes! So they should understand.

Saturday night was that situation. Pollsters don't watch every game, just check the score... 31-17 is much better than 24-17.

Kneeling down with 10 minutes to play in the 4th is considered more of a slap in the face to an opposing team/coach. So is falling on the ground after you get past the D line. Second and third stringers were, indeed in for the vast majority of the second half. I am teling you, SC ran the ball stright up the middle and threw one short pass early in the second half by Mustain. WSU is that bad. Believe what you want, but the plays tell the tale. Look at the play by play omn gamecast or something. Here is the entire second half when USC had the ball.

What if we fumbled or worse a pick 6. Then its OT. Kneeling was the right call.

DING DING DING. We have a winner!! Kneeling it at the end had nothing to do with Sportsmanship people!!

It had everything to do with not giving SC a chance to tie the game. The most important thing is to win the game and NOT margin of victory. In fact we should have taken a knee after KW made the 1st but Les gave KW a few shots at a TD bc he played a great game (though it was the most vanilla two hands on the football run it up the gut plays)

What bothered me was what appeared to be indecisiveness on the part of LSU in the last play of the game. It looked like the team wasn't prepared to go for the score or take a knee to end the game. ????
