What I want is consistency of complaints/support. That's all.
If you were a person who complained that 10 wins seasons at LSU were nothing special, than I'd like you to be consistent and NOT suddenly declare them fantastic now that there's been a coaching change.
If you were a person that expected wins against BAMA even with Saban there, then I'd expect you to have those same expectations under the new coach.
If you'd have lost your mind under Miles if one of his QB's had gone on a 4 game stretch with zero passing TD's, then I'd expect you to be just as vocal about that under the new coach as the old.
If you got tired of talking about final season rankings without any hardware to show for them, don't start telling me about what our final ranking was last year without any hardware in your hand while doing so.
Fact is, Ed Orgeron has been VERY average as HC. He has not been any real upgrade over the guy we all eventually wanted fired, and there has been a glaring double stand when discussing his time here. At some point, that's going to have to matter.

They only count because o is the damn head coach. Miles and his teams shite the bed against Bama from 1-9-12 to 11-7-15.
His time here is history. O's in charge now. The only thing that matters now is what the current coaching staff has accomplished or will accomplish going forward.
Why the hell do some of you continue to say shite like "ok, o's lost 3 games against Bama. But look what Miles did his last 5 games against them."
I'm going use one of Roger's favorite lines, Miles is gone. Let the man go. The wins he racked up here were sweet. His losses sucked arse. But all that is history.
Again, the only thing that matters now is what o has done and will be able to do going forward.

It's just an obvious double standard they have for the guy. I hate being the guy that goes to this...but there's NO WAY the current LSU HC would have been given this much leeway if his name was Brian Smith from Iowa.
And...as I've said from the very beginning...this will ultimately be a real problem for this program. We can see it already as fans have snuggled up to the idea that what was just recently unacceptable from the program is now laudable. There's only one reason that's happened, and it isn't because LSU fans suddenly started hated winning.
There was a time when I'd have said it would be a good thing to have local guy lead the Tigers. I've since changed that tune. Given our state, and our inability to recognize snake oil salesmen, or for that matter even care when they're selling us their goods, we'd be better off never having a local as LSU's HC.
