who would you put above him? his resume includes a MNC. hard to find anyone else with that.
Mack Brown and Les Miles also have a MNC......and are current coaches...

or the #15 coach who is one of the baws?

So does that mean when aTm goes 7-5 this year (they play Clemson LSU Bama and UGA, that’s 4 losses right there) does Jimbo get knocked out of the top 10?
I can’t figure out if the coaches are ranked on their body of work or just 2018.

That's hard to say. Miles ranked #30 makes a person think that it would be a coach's full body of work and not just last year, since Miles didn't coach last year.
On the other hand, having o ranked #15 makes me believe that the list only covers the 2018 season. Because there's no way in hell that o could be ranked 15th with the 31-33 record he complied during his time at Ole Miss, his interim stints at USC and LSU and his first season as the full time head coach at LSU.

Looks to me like it’s body of work, with an emphasis on the 2018 season.

Makes sense. I'm sure you're right.

I can name 10 better in the SEC - 5 in the West alone.

The only "joke" is ur apparent ignorance regarding Football, Chief!!
You don't have to like CEO or even think hes done a decent job so far @ LSU but if you expect anyone to take u serious when shite this ignorant falls out of ur HOLE every time u open it I'm ur a lost cause.
Maybe ur just more of a Softball guy & haven't a GD clue when it comes to Football & Coaching?

Fisher is not the third best coach in the country. Neither is Kirby Smart this high either.

Some of it might be hit or miss. Hell, o ain't the 15th best coach in the country. I wouldn't get too excited about it.

Not at all. To be fair, that entire list is pretty bad. It's like someone just put names in a hat and pulled them out one by one, with the exception of you know who and Dabo.

That's exactly what that list looks like.
How ya doing birdman?

Doing ok, my friend. Thanks for asking. Had a fun time with the family on a little mini vacation last week.
Hope all is well with you and yours.

He’s earned it so far. What he did after the Troy loss was impressive. Maybe more impressive than navigating through a Brutal schedule to get 10 wins. My reasoning is that LSU football, O’s career as a HC, recruiting etc was at a crossroads and if O doesn’t regroup the team to win 6 straight it could have gotten ugly. Especially with the west so competitive. He’s done nothing but win since ole miss. He has mirrored Pete Carroll’s methods and so far so good. Everyone is bought in from admins to coaching staff to the players. This is crucial to success. One thing left O needs to prove is winning when expectations are high and all the pundits have LSU as a P/O contender. He’s proven he can pull teams from the brink. Let’s see what he does w a preseason top 5

Good for you. It's that time of the year. School is almost out and my wife and I have plans to take our Grandkids to Yosemite, Sequoia and the Grand Canyon during their summer break.

There's several more just like him in this thread alone. But yes you've got that guy pegged.

Les above Jimbo.
We will soon find out how good les is. I don't think it's close at all.
