I find it hard to believe LSU was picked by almost every service to go 6-6 or worse.
Sure enough, very few predicted this.
ESPN FPI projected 5-7, and 24/7 went with that to the extent that they published it.
Athlon was mixed but 2 of their top analysts predicted 6-6 and 5-7

As if Orgeron took the field by himself and single-handedly defeated the Georgia football team in hand to hand combat.
Did he rip off his shirt and smash a can against his forehead in the process?

but Burrow turned the offense around with skill, patience, and a sens of humor.
A sense of humor? He turned the offense around with a sense of humor?
The young man needs to focus on football and leave the stand-up comedy routine to the professionals. He isn't gonna crack into the top 50 Qbs in college football telling jokes.

Maybe if you quit giving support to rabid O-Bashers like Bird, Mad, Earl, Gold, Fat, and Damone, we would get more like Rosenblatt.

As it stands, every poster who stands up for Orgeron's substantial achievements gets attacked by this group that you are very cozy with.
Damn you Lunatik. This is all your fault for cozying up to us "haters."

LSU didn't even make Phil Steele's 2018 Top-40
So yeah, the major national services I read had LSU at around 6-6 (and sometimes a little better and sometimes a little worse.)

I'm still amazed at this thread. The length people will go to in order to maintain a position is incredible.

You found 2 examples. And of those two, no one at ESPN, even with that “FPI” info, picked them to go worse than 6-6. Go ahead and find me an actual human at ESPN who picked LSU to finish worse than .500.

quote:Why? The ESPN FPI is their pride and joy. All their major analysts had input on their FPI. You want ESPN's take? You're looking at it... 5-7.

He came into a thread where everyone was having a civil discussion and he's attempting to derail the thread by flinging insults and generally acting like an arse. I'm sure that nobody's surprised.
