One day (in the distant future), we may look back at CBS SEC football intro in the same nostalgic way. But The Rant will still be cursing Jabba the Hut and Gary Danielson.

production quality has slipped the past few years, but they're still the best. I wasn't a huge fan of Verne, but in retrospect he was much more entertaining than Brad Nessler. All of Nessler's calls sound pre-written and repetitive.

frick cbs. ABC/ESPN is a much better network for sports I think. They definitely have better announcers and the production just seems better all the way around imho.
