Well yes. We’ve had several guys who have been given the opportunity to grab that spot and run with it and not a single one has been able to do it. It’s very frustrating

Agreed, but the freshmen take a while to develop and we clearly have no upperclassmen who are capable.

Unless things change drastically down the stretch, it should be Morgan by a mile. I'm not interested on scouts' take on Crews' long term potential and draft status. Morgan is just plain better, right now. And for anyone who might be confused as to which player has been better, look no further than SEC batting averages. Morgan is 58 points higher than Crews.
Crews is mistake prone in the outfield, and Morgan (despite some weird fundamentals) is an outstanding first baseman. He's also way better than Crews with runners in scoring position. Crews gets his hits, but he rarely seems to do anything impactful in critical situations.
