Watching a program-defining win slip away at the last minute

Not even the in state schools consider a Wendesday game the first week of March as a “program defining” win.

Beating LSU in a post season game (like Northwestern State was eyelash from doing that n 2018) would be a program defining win. LSU loses midweek games to SLU, Nicholls, La Tech from time to time.

This reminds me of the College World Series Tigers of the 90's. They routinely won these kind of games back then. I knew we had good shot to win it and then when Frey entered the Fray it was a done deal.

Can you imagine being an SLU fan and victory being snatched away from you like that??
