best first post ever.

Yep, you are right. Strange. Either they haven't finalized the design or the perspective of the interior drawing is just misleading, as some people suggested above.
These look like they are from a SD (schematic design) submittal. SD is the first phase and these renderings were probably just to give LSU an idea of what it would look like. The only reason I asked if this was from an official release is even though it doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things I personally wouldn't consider giving LSU something that was that "off".

I wonder what will be in the glassed in sections? If capacity is 99500 we'll hit 100k consistently.

If its 99,500 we'll easily hit 100,000 if not 101,000+ for the big games.

Love they stayed with the arches. I wish they would have incorporated them into the other two expansions. The west upper deck outside facade just doesn't look like it belongs.

I love the way this looks and I wonder how much those freaking parking spots are gonna run.

don't know why they officially won't add 500 more seats and list it as 100,000

Oh wow. That looks incredible. I guess I'm ok with Alleva's proposal.

It looks very nice! I like it a lot! I hope this is what it really turns out like. I will hope for more seats though to push us past 100,000.

this is a conceptual design. it isnt going to be perfect.

Some of y'all are really hung up on these arches. But I agree that these renderings look great.

We know. We all know. We've seen this posted in every single TS expansion thread since the beginning of TD.com

It looks fine. Get over it.

I've read on here before (not too long ago maybe a few months at most) that it might possibly have to do with fire marshall/building codes that call for added sprinkler systems or something like that once you pass tha 100k mark. It seemed logical when I read it.

True, but they usually don't show two different buildings. There's about a $30,000,000 difference between the two drawings.
