What kind of resources. I thought I saw where Ole Miss spent 20-22 million for 2025, where as LSU spent 18 million.

The main problem with Kiffin has been his blatant disregard for setting his defense up for success. Running plays like your hair is on fire wears down a defense during the game and leaves them worthless by the end of the season. He also loses a game a year by making horrible in game decisions on 4th down by either not punting or taking the FG. Case in point, LSU last year,
That said, every coach is flawed and he has at least tempered some of the stupidity. I would take him in a heartbeat over Kelly, especially when considering age.

I'll say this, he had more talent than LSU last year - without question and he lost.
That's a good point that you bring up. He clearly has issues, I would never say he is a homerun hire by any means. What I do believe is that he is a better head coach than we currently have. I do believe that he would be able to assemble a better team at LSU than he could at Ole Miss. I do understand that he has issues and seems to either get too caught up in the moment or just makes boneheaded mistakes at times that seem to cost his team a game every year. Having said all of that, I have to be realistic about what coach we could possibly hire at LSU. The coaches we would be able to get will come with either 1. issues, like Kiffin, or 2. inexperience. I personally would rather take Kiffin over someone with no experience being a head coach.

do you have a link?
It's hard finding consistent info but i found LSU at 3rd spending 20.1 mil and OM wasn't listed in top 5. I do remember last year OM spent a lot on transfer portal players but from what I saw they weren't in top 25 for NIL

Let's not settle for just he's better than what we have - and even that's a maybe.
