CAR YDS AVG TD LG

Hilliard

5 16 3.2 0 7

Jefferson

14 15 1.1 0 18

So you mean to tell me our best RB over the last 4 games only got the ball 5 times, while Jefferson had 14 running attempts?

IMO, Jefferson wanted to do everything himself. He CONSTANTLY changed plays at the line all night Monday and when he did, he ended up keeping the ball himself.

frick him. I'm glad he's gone.

Exactly. Jefferson has never been a good runner. I don't get it.

I'd imagine at least 7-8 of those were suppose to be pass attempts that JJ saw his first read was covered and decided to tuck and run.

That number includes sacks, scrambles, keeps on the option. Not saying Jefferson played well or ran the ball well, but no running back had success either.

This is my problem as well. IMO it is the QB's job to get the ball to the playmakers.

The most positive thing that I came away with after this season is the knowledge that JJ will never take another snap as an LSU Tiger. His football days are OVER!

70% of our offense was a run or pass by our worse offensive player.

Brad wing had more touches than anybody not named JJ.

He changed every play at the line before he could possibly read the defense (I don't even think he looked). He was going to prove that he could win the game on his back. He is the original superman.

That being said, he is gone now and I don't want to keep looking back at his sorry career. He won't get drafted, he won't make a roster, and he will never be a coach. Looks like a life of used car sales and what might have been for him. Karma is a bitch.

Yes, something is very wrong-
13-0, ranked #1, and we're thrilled.

One loss in the fricking BCS game, which everyone in the entire country wants to get to play in, and the entire fan base acts like our coach intentionally lost the game out of spite and stubbornness.

This was the most magical season I could remember, and I've been watching the Tigers since Hokie Gajan was toting the rock. It hurts that we lost, but we need to appreciate what everyone in purple and gold gave us this year.

Watching the game in the Dome, Jefferson NEVER looked off his first receiver. Not once. He was locked on to someone from the moment the ball was snapped. If the receiver was covered, he was either going to scramble or get sacked. It was pathetic.

Was he scared to run the play that was called?

I don't think he was scared. I just think he wanted to do it all himself because he's a self-absorbed, greedy SOB.

Yes totally agree, if his guy he chooses before breaking the huddle is not open he is screwed.

The big difference between he and JL which is why everyone is so upset that we never got the shot to read the defenses with someone who could
