Something is going on with this team

JJ has lost this team. I am calling BS on Ben missing a class. I have heard he missed a team meeting which makes sense considering the way this team has played. Not to mention the way JJ lets Quarterman continue to be a virus on this team. Been saying that all year he is a virus and has been all year. If Simmons missed a meeting and sat for 4 minutes the player have lost respect for their coach and it is obvious the way they have played with so much on the line.

I think Ben has a bit of an attitude problem. Just going through the motions to finish up here and move on. You can sorta tell how he shows no emotion. I just don't really think he gives a shite about the team right now. He is playing for himself and is probably fine as long as he gets his. You can see at certain times in the game he just checks out on defense.

When the team drops the rest of their games and goes 0-1 in the SEC Tournament they'd be lucky to even reach the NIT. At that point they would have gone 1-8 in their last 9

I think he has been overly timid on D this year after fouling out and getting into bad foul trouble in games early in the year. I don't mind this approach in the first half. But he definitely needs to tighten things up in the 2nd half.

The team doesn't play with a lack of effort, though it looks that way at times.
They lack focus.
I mean how many point blank layups were missed. How many FT's.
How many stupid rushed 3's.
It's been the case all year.
This simply isn't a good "team". Too many deficiencies and poor coaching too boot.

Normally I would down-vote such a post....but you get an up-vote because in this case you are 100% correct, except sprinkle some softball along with the baseball for me. If the team doesn't give a flying frick, why should I?

Honestly, shouldn't even accept an NIT bid! Easily the most disappointing team in the NCAA this year..not even close...just end it already!

Since Chris Jackson we have never seen a freshman phenom like Ben Simmons at LSU. He is 18 year old kid that seems to be lost at times and no direction. Quarterman is a virus who plays like he is pissed he is not the man.

The team is playing really bad in hopes of getting a new coach. They don't like the coach either.

My guess, there was internal tension among the team, maybe jealousy of Simmons, or maybe resentment towards some special treatment he gets. The team has been struggling a good bit of the year with something.

I'm praying Quartermann takes his D-league contract and leaves this university so we can at least remove one cancer from this team.
