Chambliss was very inaccurate when the first option wasn’t there or timing disrupted.
I’d much rather we had played tighter coverage and contain him other ways.

Maybe they didn’t trust pj in man? Dj Pickett is literally one of the best press corners in the country makes zero sense to not trust him in man coverage

This is utter bullshite we have DJ Pickett !! A 6’4 corner with 4.3 speed and can change directions on a dime he absolutely can matchup with elite receivers on an island he most likely will be a top 20 pick next year. Couldn’t disageee more he’s literally a preseason all sec 2nd team selection at corner

I think going into the game the plan was to force Chambliss into short throws and make Miss sustain long drives against our defense. However, it became apparent during the game that Chambliss was much less accurate throwing the ball down field. Baker gets paid and knows a lot more than me but LSU probably should have taken away the short throws and forced Chambliss to beat us down field.
